Potty training. Two words that can strike fear into the heart of any parent. You stare at the tiny version of you and wonder how you can communicate that they need to start using the toilet and transition away from diapers. Parents doggedly go through the process of training their child and some even put it off and hope it will happen naturally. Kimberly-Clark is trying to bring some fun and celebration to the process with their First Flush campaign. You may not be able to afford a parade to commemorate your child’s first visit, but Kimberly-Clark has provided some information and tools to make the toilet training process a little easier for everyone involved.

K-C Warns of Tainted Tampons

Theft and fraud are a nightmare for any company and Kimberly-Clark is unfortunately experiencing that nightmare. As part of their normal operations, they have brand and consumer protection activities which alerted them to the theft and subsequent fraud of tainted tampons that were scheduled for destruction. They are working with the criminal division of the FDA to get to the bottom of this situation and get their product back . . . kudos to Kimberly-Clark for being so proactive . . .

“Covers for Causes” Introduced by Covercraft

Next month is Breast Cancer Awareness month and organizations are constantly thinking up new ways to highlight this serious health issue. Covercraft has come up with a unique, pink car cover made by Kimberly-Clark and a pink version of a windshield heat shield. They have the “Covers for Causes” logo on them and the best part is that a portion of the proceeds will be donated to breast cancer research programs.

Not all car covers are created equal, apparently, as the Petersen Automotive Museum is all too well aware. Keeping antique cars in pristine, show-stopping condition is a never-ending job and the flannel covers along with dust sheets just weren’t cutting it for them. Covercraft and Kimberly-Clark teamed up to provide a better alternative and keep those exquisite cars dust-free, rust-free and contaminant free.
